Jay Matrubhumi Mandal was founded in 2000 at Matrubhumi Chowk, Bhusawal, in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. For more than two decades the Mandal has organised the town's Ganeshotsav celebration, known across the Khandesh region as Khandeshcha Raja, alongside a year-round programme of community service.
1. Ganeshotsav – Khandeshcha Raja: Each year the Mandal installs the Khandeshcha Raja idol at its pandal in Bhusawal and welcomes devotees from across Khandesh for darshan. Aarti is performed daily at 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM through the festival, closing with the visarjan procession.
2. Community service: Beyond the festival, the Mandal runs blood donation drives and supports education, healthcare and social welfare work for families in and around Bhusawal.
3. A registered non-profit: The Mandal is registered as Jay Matrubhumi Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, a Section 8 non-profit company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Under Section 8 all income and property must be applied solely to its stated objects, and no dividend may be paid to its members — every contribution goes to the Mandal's work.
